This is an amazing quote from one of my most respected historical figures. But it serves for a very important reminder: we grow from challenge. The next time you find yourself facing difficulty, remember that no matter how negative the experience may be, it CAN be transformed into a positive force in your life.
Thanks so much for the reblog and for your inspiring comments.
Another HUGE favourite of mine, John O Donohue. His books, especially Eternal Echoes and Benedictus never cease to inspire and uplift me. A master of language, reading his work leaves you feeling you have been gently washed in warm water…deeply relaxing and all embracing.
I came across the quote but I’m not familar with his work, thanks for your comments.
Great shot of the Obama’s! thanks! I watched an interview on cnn with Michelle and the kids – wow, what a great family!

Yes, LOL. – I chose it because I thought it related to Obama today, well I thought both quotes did.
I probably went there because of Obama, as well.
Beautiful! Love them
