This is my first monthly post for P E A C E. A great concept from “everyday gurus“.
The first thing that actually came to my mind was my friends recent art project.
The artwork is by award winning artist Jacklyn Laflamme.
Jacklyn was also the illustrator for my children’s fairy tale books.
The entire collection was on exhibit recently at Studio 18 in the Pines in South Florida.
This is really getting into the spirit of PEACE!
“World peace must develop from inner peace.
Peace is not just mere absence of violence.
Peace is, I think, the manifestation of human compassion.” –Dalai Lama XIV

Both you and your artist are terrific. I really enjoyed this. Peace and love in my opinion are the words for 2013. Followed by the two I want to see eliminated, sexism and misogyny. Hugs, Barbara
Thank you so much.
By the way, I just noted your reference to me. Thank you so much. You are a dear friend. hugs, Barbara
You’re very welcome. Love your blog.

Thank you for the link.
This is a beautiful post, Rev Dani. Your friend is an amazing artist, her web site is super cool. Do you think she would let us use one of the peace signs for the Bloggers for Peace t-shirt?
If not, just tell her thank you for this beautiful tribute to peace. And thank you for your support of Bloggers for Peace.
Thank you so much. I’ll let Jacklyn know and ask her to contact you. I think it’s a great idea. Thanks again.
I met with Jacklyn last night and we briefly talked about the t-shirt again. I know it’s been a couple weeks but I expect that she’ll be contacting you soon.
Woohoo, Rev Dani. Thank you so much. B4Peace is growing. We now have 89 members which equals almost 3 posts per day for the whole year. Yippeee.
I’ve seen how its growning, I love it, what a wonderful idea you had. And I appreciate the number of links I’ve received. – I actually got the chance to meet up with Jacklyn last night at dinner. We were celebrating my mother’s 86th b-day. My granddaughters were with us and we made plans for them to go to Jacklyn’s studio next month to create Peace N Love artwork for Valentines Day. So I’m going to take some photos of the process for my Feb Peace post.
Sounds great, Rev Dani. Congrats to your mother. I bet she has some stories to tell.
I also love the community that is building around B4Peace. I love going to visit a post and seeing other bloggers for peace have already been there and commented.
