12/21/12 & a Child’s Dream Catcher

vulture, 12/21/1212/21/2012

This Winter Solstice signifies the ending of our old world

and the beginning of the new.

On this special day, as our Sun travels on its path through the heavens,

it enters the very center of the Milky Way, our galaxy of stars,

carrying us forward into the Age of Aquarius

where peace and love will reign on Earth as in Heaven

and for the first time, witnessed by the eyes of mankind

from our place among the galaxy of stars on a blue ball of fire and ice.

If one holds a Dream Catcher up high on this Winter morning,

the sadness, anger and confusion of the old world will be captured in its web

and then dissipate by the light of the morning sun.

And then we pray; God, we enter the Age of Aquarius,

an age of wisdom, compassion and the spiritual awakening of mankind.

As the light of this brand new day of our new world shines through the Dream Catcher,

we close our eyes and blow into the web, bringing our new world to life

with the breath of the fire of our spirit and the dream of the sound of our soul.

Each day as the light of the new world flows through the Dream Catcher

it will weave magic to manifest our prayers and for generations to come,

shine on a world of acceptance, sharing, peace

and above all, love, the sacred vibration of our spirit.

(The dream catchers in the photo were for my granddaughters. They were hung from a black vulture prayer stick for the week leading up to 12/21/12 to absorb the powerful energy of vulture… the cycle of birth, death, renewal… as with this new age.)
